
Some time ago, DontSpreadIt.com drew my attention. The site offers a new way to share information about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). The service is run by an enterprising 2-man management team, of the corporate entity Buckley Innovations, LLC.

Could be useful, I suppose, although I don’t know how individuals on the receiving end of this king of missive would feel about it. Plus, it might be prone to pranks — seems easy to tell a “friend” they’ve been exposed to, say, gonorrhea, crabs or something untreatable.
The site offers a “Help with STDs” menu that provides links to Planned Parenthood, the WHO, the CDC, and a zip-code based clinic finder. There’s also information on specific STDs; the sources are varied.
